Practice challenges
There are no current practice challenges at this time.
All students should be practicing regularly at home.
Progress requires practice!
You should think of your practice time as homework for orchestra.
Practicing outside the lesson is the most important thing a student can do to improve as a musician.
It is recommended to practice a little bit every day. The important part of
practicing for beginners is consistent day-to-day practice.
A great beginning goal is practicing 4 days a week for 20 minutes.

Meet the Teacher
Hello everyone! I’m Mrs. Pisagih!
I am so excited to be returning to Elden Elementary
School for my second year teaching orchestra in
Baldwinsville! Before Bville, I also taught in the
Fulton City School District and at
Manlius Pebble Hill School.
A little bit about me! This will be my 12th year
teaching elementary orchestra. I can not think of a
better job. I am so lucky to get to work with the
youngest members of our Bville Orchestra program.
I am originally from Fulton, NY where I began playing the viola in 4th grade. I attended Syracuse
University for my bachelors and masters degrees in Music Education with Performance Honors. I also was
lucky enough to study abroad at the Strasbourg Conservatoire in Alsace, France.
I got married to my husband Joshua back in 2020 and we have a beautiful 2 year old son, Ezra.
Together we love to swim, kayak, read, travel, and visit all of our local playgrounds!
